Fascial Integrative Therapy

A new frontier in whole-body wellness, harnessing the synergy of myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and some emotional healing.

Frankie Burget, OTR. LMT/MI, CNDT | Windsong Therapy and Wellnes

How it Works?

Facial integrative therapy is a specialized form of manual bodywork that gently manipulates an underlying soft tissue structure in the body. It is called the fascial system.

Much like a three-dimensional body stocking made up of a web of filament-like strands, the fascial system holds the body's bones, muscles, and organs in place.

The proper balance of the facial System is crucial to maintaining structural and mechanical balance for all systems within your body. Injury or repetitive stress can cause the fascia to bunch up or snag in places, causing additional mechanical load on a variety of musculoskeletal areas, leading to symptoms of chronic pain and loss of function.

By stretching and smoothing the fascia filaments, the body is restored to optimal balance, promoting faster healing, more efficient detoxification, and general health and well-being for the patient.

Why It's Different?

Fascial Tnregrarivc Therapy is different from other types of manual bodywork

because it combines three elements of the body related to fascial And

structural health: the fascial system, the craniosacral system, which regulates

the Row of cerebrospinal fluid throughout your body, and the emotional

the energy component of physical well-being.

By combining these three different treatment methodologies, Fascial Integrative

Therapy works in a super-charged, highly effective three-pronged

approach to total body healing. FIT addresses the entire body, looking at

how the interplay of multiple stressors, emotional factors, and physical

trauma combine to manifest as a specific symptom or syndrome of pain.

Fascial Integrative Therapy treats the whole person, not just the part that

hurts.

Our Mission

The goal of Fascial Integrative Therapy is to train therapeutic professionals who understand the value of:

• We must go to our deepest core beliefs and redefine the fundamental body-view into a unified way of thinking about how the body functions as an interconnccted, multidimensional unit.

• Giving control back to the patient by listening to their needs and encouraging them to participate in their healing process

• Providing a safe emotional place for patients to come, restoring hope for recovery and healing.

What We Believe

We believe our methodology is more than simply the sum of its pans. It is more than just a collection of innovative techniques and treatment protocols. It is a way of thinking, a way of feeling, and a way of responding to each patient. It is a deep conviction, a way of life. Ir takes us as therapists on journeys of inner healing and acceptance and requires a heart truly committed to the selfless act of giving of oneself to heal others. It is not for everyone. But for the few who choose this path of healing, the limits are boundless.

A pioneer in treating chronic soft tissue dysfunction, Frankie Burget, OTR.
